Billing is credit-based: **1 credit = 1 video of up to 100 seconds of finished, narrated animation.**
Longer topics are planned into chapters and each chapter costs 1 credit.

## Billing behaviour

- Estimates above 2 credits are shown for approval before the job runs.
- The final charge is capped at the approved estimate and refunded down if the video comes in shorter.
- A failed render is refunded in full to the credit balance.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; credits from the period already paid for stay usable to the end of that period.
- Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately.

### Do credits expire?

### Can I cancel or change plan any time?

Yes. Cancelling stops the next renewal and takes nothing back: credits from the period you already paid for stay usable until that period ends. Upgrades and downgrades both apply immediately, and you keep any one off credits you bought regardless of what happens to the subscription.

### Do I pay again if a video fails?

No. Credits are authorized when a job starts and only settle against what actually gets rendered. A failed job is refunded back to your balance, and a video that finishes shorter than its estimate is charged for what it delivered, not what it reserved.
